If you haven't noticed, the strength of WOW classes has shifted significantly with recent patches. These changes are very noticeable especially if you look at Warriors and Deathknights.

In early arena seasons Warriors were clearly one of the overpowered classes. More recently after a bunch of nerfs to warriors and the introduction of Death Knights (DKs), DKs clearly became the most desired class for arenas.

The tides have turned again, DKs have been nerfed into oblivion, and warriors have once again become one of the clear classes of choice for arenas. The shift of power with WOW classes can be seen clearly by reviewing sk-gaming 2v2 and 3v3 ratings. It is safe to argue that generally the strongest classes rise to the top in 2v2, 3v3 ratings are also a strong indicator.

Top 2v2 Classes/Specs:
1. Disc Priest - 14%
2. Arms Warrior - 12%
3. Muti/Prep Rogue - 10%
4. Holy Paladin - 9%
5. Frost Mage - 8%
6. Resto Druid - 7%

Top 3v3 Classes/Specs:
1. Dis Priest - 11%
2. Holy Paladin - 11%
3. Muti/Prep Rogue - 10%
4. Frost Mage - 9%
5. Arms Warrior - 9%
6. Unholy Deathknight - 7%
